Shop customers use to be acting students
and collectors, but not any more. Now
vintage clothing is carried in some
of the most posh Boutiques from Tokyo,
to New York, and every where in between. |

stores don't have to look like thrift stores anymore. Vintage Clothing Suppliers
make way for the future of vintage retail. |
| | | | With
generation Xer's moving up in the corporate world, continuing to wear casual vintage
pieces that were fashionable in there youth. Most of the generation Y, is following
closely behind them keeping similar trends. Needless to say the average baby boomer
still has no clue what a vintage store is, while nearly all generation X and Y'ers
have known what they are there entire lives. |

Outfitters, is it Exciting creative
retail, or the Wal Mart for frat boys.
Urban Outfitters hit's the scene like
a bratty copycat little brother, who
doesn't want to play fair. Instead of
supporting rising talent they rip them
off, then sick their big nose corporate
attorneys out to intimidate and distract.

| The
second Sunday of every month, the rosebowl
parking lot turns into the Mecca for vintage
clothing and collectibles. What would normally
be some kind of obscure flea market, becomes
a must see adventure. Only in Los Angeles,
California can a Vintage Swap Meet attract
such designers, celebrities, top dealers,
and buyers from Fred Siegle, Nieman Marcus,
Abercrombie and Fitch and more.. |
